Tara Austin is a Los Angeles-by-way-of-Nashville vocalist and songwriter. She fronted and co-wrote material for JonesWorld, a 30-piece funk/rock band in Nashville. She more recently co-wrote and recorded background vocals for Australian artist Brihony Dawson on her 2013 Last Mistress LP, "Blood, Sweat & Fears" and again on her 2015 Ladyhood EP, “Finger On The Pulse”.
Spanning several genres, she has recorded and performed with such artists and songwriters as Jerry Riopelle, Warner Hodges (Jason & the Scorchers), Matt King, Monty Powell (Keith Urban), Bill Lloyd (Foster & Lloyd), Russell Smith (Amazing Rhythm Aces), Steve Bogard (Etta James, George Strait) and Josh Leo (Alabama, Restless Heart) and has been part of the Wild Honey Orchestra for the past 4 years.
She currently performs her own brand of sultry-pop music and has co-created Song Chasers, a female fueled writers in the round showcasing many talented Los Angeles area songwriters.
